Riccione is located in the Rimini Area (Northeastern Italy), easy to reach by train, car, and plane.

ARRIVING BY CAR:

Take motorway A14 Bologna-Bari and exit at Riccione; after the gate turn left, at the first roundabout go in the direction of Rimini-Cattolica, at the second roundabout take the first exit to the right, and then turn left. At the stop turn left again, after about 300 meters you will arrive at the traffic light; turn right. Continue straight on for about 1 km, you will pass through one traffic light, then at the roundabout follow the sign “Terme”, second exit. Continue and at the stop go ahead again, at the roundabout turn right, after about 100 meters, on the right side you will find the entrance toPalaterme. You can park the car before the roundabout; there are free parking spaces available.

ARRIVING BY PLANE:

Rimini Airport (Federico Fellini) (RMI) –

During summer season there are many low cost companies operating with scheduled flights from many European destinations: www.myair.com, www.tuifly.com, www.ryanair.com , www.airberlin.com, www.airdolomiti.it

Other airports near Rimini:

Forlì airport (Ridolfi) (FRL) and Ancona airport (R. Sazio) (AOI) are only a half an hour drive from Riccione.

From Ancona, there are many flights operated by Ryanair and other low cost companies. Ancona airport is easy to reach by train to and from Riccione.

Bologna Airport (BLQ) is about 130 km from Rimini. It’s one of the most well served airports in the area. From the airport take the Aerobus to the train station Bologna Centrale, and then take the train to Riccione.

Milan Airports (Milano Linate, Milano Malpensa and Bergamo) are well served from all over Europe.

From the airport you have to get by bus Milano Centrale Train station and then take the train to Rimini or Riccione. If you arrive at Rimini, take the bus # 11 going to Riccione.

 

ARRIVING BY TRAIN:

Riccione is well served by trains coming from all over Italy. Almost all the trains stop at the Riccione Train Station; a few long distance trains stop only at Rimini. From the Rimini Train Station, take bus # 11 to Riccione; it runs every 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to reach Riccione.

The workshop venue is about 1.8 km from Riccione Train Station. From the train station you can walk to Piazzale Curiel, about 500 meters, and then take bus # 11 or # 125, get off at Riccione Terme. Then you can walk straight to the venue.
